"Something Old, Something Blue, and a Jeep Packed Like a Clown Car"

They say what doesn't kill your styled shoot makes it a great story - and our March 1st "Something Old, Something Blue" winter shoot at Clover lawn Community Hall gave us enough material for a Netflix special! Between last-minute cancellations and some MacGyver-level problem solving, we're pretty sure we've earned our event planning merit badges.

The adventure began with Candy (my assistant/BFF/emergency hairstylist) and me playing real-life Tetris with my Jeep. We packed:

- A gorgeous dress from Bespoke Bridal & Alterments (shoved carefully between the seats)

- Enough charcuterie supplies to feed a small army

- Every decoration known to man

- My entire vanity (more on that later)

We had exactly 0.2 inches of space left when the 4 AM text came: our hair and makeup artist's daughter was sick. Cue me:

1) Taking deep breaths

2) Tossing my entire makeup collection into bags

3) Somehow finding space in the Jeep (I think we broke physics)

Thank all the wedding gods for Candy, who transformed our beautiful models Moraya & Miranda into absolute visions while I:

Set up the head table

Decorated the cart

Questioned all my life choices

Then... plot twist! Our florist's car broke down. Because of course it did. At this point I was ready to start hot-gluing the charcuterie meat into bouquet shapes, but instead became a floral designer for the day (read: I hacked apart our decorations to create bouquets and boutonnieres that... existed).

The Final Score:

Candy cart - stunning

Blue cocktails - Instagram-worthy

Charcuterie - delicious snack break

Head table - minimalist chic (we're calling it intentional)

My stress levels - through the roof but worth it

Huge thanks to our dream team vendors who made magic happen despite the chaos:
