It’s Blog O’Clock, and I’m SWOONING Over Our Spring Bloom Stylized Shoot!

Okay, deep breaths—because I just got the photos back from our Spring Bloom Stylized Shoot, and oh. my. petals. I am obsessed. The day was pure magic, the vendors were actual angels, and the only "drama" was a stunning-but-slightly-stubborn dress that clearly wanted its own moment in the spotlight. (Relatable.)
But let’s get to the good stuff—because this dream team deserves ALL the heart-eyed emojis.
The Venue: Lions Garden (AKA Where Fairytales Live)
From the second I stepped onto the property, I was gone. A rustic-chic barn with chandeliers? Farmhouse tables that make you want to host a feast? A bridal suite fit for a literal princess? And horses casually roaming like they’re in a romance novel? Lions Garden, you enchanted us. The owners thought of everything, and I’m already plotting ways to move in. (As a guest. Or maybe as one of the horses. No judgment.)
The Dream Team That Made It All Happen
- Malvi, Hair & Makeup Artist – Not only does she make brides look ethereal, but her soul is as beautiful as her work. She took her time, laughed with us, and made sure everyone felt like the best version of themselves. (Also, if she wants to be my life hype-woman, I’m here for it.)
- Paula at Country Roads Flower Farm – SWOON. Those bouquets? Those boutonnieres? The orange and pink blooms that looked like they were kissed by the sun? Paula, you’re a floral sorceress. (And if you ever need a flower-stroking assistant, call me.)
- Izma at The Cake Studio YEG – She created a cupcake bouquet that was the star of our dessert cart. I almost didn’t want to eat it… almost. (Spoiler: I ate it. Zero regrets.)
- Jillian at Straight Drive North – She hand-painted champagne glasses so gorgeous, I audibly gasped. The luxury they added to our head table? Chef’s kiss. Jillian, your talent is illegal. (But please don’t stop.)
- Peak & Prairie, Danielle T Photography, & Kenzie Mark Photography – These photographers? Magicians. They captured every sunbeam, every laugh, every uncooperative-dress moment with such artistry. (Also, they made me look good in all my behind-the-scenes chaos, which is a miracle.)
- Sarah at Wild Love Media – Even under the weather, she kept smiling, kept filming, and still managed to make us all laugh. Sarah, you’re a warrior with a camera, and we adore you.
My Ride-or-Die Squad
To my four sweet, hilarious, incredibly patient girls who helped set up all the decor, fluffed every petal, and made sure Sidecar Stella (our debutante vintage trailer) looked fabulous—I LOVE YOU. You make the chaos fun, and I couldn’t do this without you. (Also, you’re stuck with me forever. No take-backs.)
The Tables? Pinterest-Worthy. The Vibes? Immaculate.
I’m so proud of how everything turned out—the spring-inspired tablescapes, the aisle florals, the whole dang aesthetic. And now? I cannot wait to see these decor packages at real weddings, making couples’ Pinterest dreams come true!
